Masquerade by BuffyandBramble Masquerade by BuffyandBramble
Entry for the DrAWctober week 2 of :iconmy-little-oc-pony: Theme is masquerade. I've always wanted to go to a masquerade ball myself.
Anyway, was determined to submit something, so have Cinnamon dressed up for a masquerade ball. Cinnamon owns a lot of jewellery.
Costume design is not a strong point of mine.

Thought I had another day to finish this, but nope. Fortunately I had the sketch, still took probably about 4hrs to finish and I've given up now. Too tired, need sleep, sick of looking at it. Was going to add more jewels but couldn't bear to.

Thanks, I've always preferred sleek to froufrou, guess it shows. xD
Finally starting to get the idea of this shading thing!

You're more than welcome to reference the design if you wish~

You're welcome. And thanks for the llama, you're my 500th. :D

Erm, I know this is a bit out of the blue, but do you take commissions at all?

I do bestow upon you the Ninja Llama. (Good luck finding it.)

I don't as a general rule, but more because I have no idea what kind of price to charge for my work, and I'm not always convinced I can deliver quality enough work for me to warrant selling. However depending on what you're after I'm happy to discuss.

Oh, it's already killed me in my sleep. ;p

Well, I prefer to deal in points rather than actual cash (paypal or the like). I'm generally happy to pay anything up to around the 2k points mark for detailed, bg-ed pictures of OCs (that would be the equivalent of £16 if you go the points bit of the store, apparently), though, like anyone, I'd prefer to pay less if I can. My idea is somewhere between 400 to 1200, though I will be willing to go up to 1600 at a push. That being said, where were you considering?

Honestly, it would depend on the content/complexity/"quality" of the piece, but what I'd be willing to sell probably wouldn't ever be more than an equivalent £10 (which working on that conversion is about 1250 points, I think.) Points would be fine, too.
I'd not be comfortable doing backgrounds (excluding a gradient fill, which doesn't count) because I'm horrendous at them. Something like this image I guess would be at the top my my price range because of the details, and I guess it would be a sliding scale down to a sketch for a couple hundred points.
